Maison Kitsuné was created in Paris in 2002 by Gildas Loaëc and Masaya Kuroki.
They developed the concept for Kitsuné – a one-of-a-kind brand that combines their two stylistically intertwined interests: fashion and music.
The name «Kitsuné», meaning «fox» in Japanese is a symbol of versatility. Legend has it, the fox possesses the power to change its appearance, and there is no doubt Maison Kitsuné knows how to adapt its sound and style according to inspiration.
Season after season, Loaëc and Kuroki showcase their contemporary vision of fashion influenced by Paris and Tokyo. The Maison Kitsuné man resonates with this perfect balance between tradition and modernity, comfort and simplicity, chic and laid-back. While the «classics» are constantly reinvented, giving the collections a sense of timelessness, the daring mix of colours, prints and materials anchor them firmly in the zeitgeist. With a passion for all things beautiful and a keen eye for detail and finish, the house has a unique savoir-faire.
